Dr Malik takes over as new chief of AIIMS Bhopal

Bhopal: Bhopal-based neurologist Dr Sunil Malik took over the charge as president of AIIMS Bhopal on Saturday. He took over from Dr Y K Gupta whose term ended on June 9.

Dr Malik is a super specialist in neurology and an MBBS from GMC, MD in Medicine from GR Medical College (Gwalior) and DM in neurology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

Dr Malik has been working as a senior consultant in neurology at Bhopal for two decades. He brings with him a wealth of experience concerning healthcare issues of the entire region and a deep understanding of the aspirations and expectations of patients of the state and of adjoining states.

AIIMS Bhopal director, Dr Ajai Singh and others welcomed the newly appointed institute president.
