We'll provide funds for treatment: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Gorakhpur: People with serious illnesses should be treated in the best medical facilities, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at 'janata darshan' programme on Friday, adding that lack of money will not be a hindrance to this.

Numerous people had come asking for financial support for the treatment of serious illnesses in the event. The CM was informed by a woman that she was receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital. The woman was asked by the CM if she had an Ayushman card. When the woman said 'no', the CM responded by saying, "you will be treated well and there is no need to worry. We'll provide the money."

The event was held in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium of the Gorakhnath temple complex where the CM addressed the grievances of over 250 people.

The CM listened to each person individually and assured that "there is no need to panic or become upset because every situation will be handled effectively".

As he handed over the applications to the police and administrative officers, he gave them instructions to pay attention to the problems of the public and find a satisfactory solution.

He directed the officials present on the spot that the estimate of the treatment should be made available to the government soon after completing the process. When a woman talked about her housing problem, CM Yogi assured her that her wish for her own home would soon come true. Yogi also blessed the children who came there with some women and gave them chocolates while motivating them to study.
