Citing the CM, they said: "Only a healthy India can become a strong nation, and in this way, TB is a key roadblock to India's growth. The urgency of eliminating TB may be gauged from the fact that India has the highest number of TB patients globally. It is for this reason that the PM advanced WHO's goal for a TB-free world by 2030 to make India a TB-free nation by 2025."
Many people sought financial help for medical treatment and the CM assured no one's treatment would be hindered for lack of funds and instructed officials to prepare estimates promptly for advanced treatment and submit them for immediate govt approval and funding.
Adityanath instructed officials to expedite the process of issuing Ayushman cards to those who don't have it and require financial assistance, it said.

The trans-Hindon area, including Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Vaishali, Kaushambi townships and Delta Colony of Surya Nagar, is home to over 20 lakh people but currently has no govt hospital. Residents for long have been demanding a govt hospital here, and, sources say, a plot was identified in Vasundhara too, but the project never materialised.
