Ensure no one is denied treatment for want of funds: UP CM

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed his commitment to public welfare during the Janata Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple on Saturday, meeting over 200 citizens and assuring swift redressal of their grievances.

He comforted a woman carrying her ailing daughter, assuring full govt support for the child's treatment and also promising her housing under welfare schemes. He instructed officials to prepare medical expense estimates for critical patients to ensure timely assistance.

Held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the janata darshan saw Yogi personally collecting petitions and directing officials to resolve matters in a fair and time-bound manner. Several people sought help for medical emergencies, with the CM assuring that no patient would be denied treatment because of financial constraints.

Yogi issued strict directives to police officials to crack down on land mafia and illegal encroachments. During his interaction, he engaged warmly with children accompanying their parents—blessing them and urging them to focus on studies.

"Our govt is committed to ensuring that every deserving person receives the benefits of healthcare and housing," he said.
