Suggestions to make UP better in healthcare welcome: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

Lucknow: Reiterating that the UP government is committed to improving medical education and healthcare, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Saturday said suggestions for advancement in this regard are welcome from one and all.

He was speaking at the 26th Indian Orthodontic Society's (IOS) national PG students convention at Sardar Patel PG Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences.

"India is making progress in every field. This progress is not possible without the contribution of UP and we are working towards making India No 1 in the world. I congratulate the Indian Orthodontic Society for choosing Lucknow for the conference."

In such conventions, PG students share research papers and discuss new technological advancements. Many suggestions also come to the fore in these meets. Therefore, if IOS has any suggestion for betterment of dental care in the state, the government will accommodate them, he added.

Anurag Singh, chairman of the institute, said, "All new technological advancements are being discussed in convention and students are getting opportunity to learn new things."
