DyCM orders best care to patients
Strict action will be taken against those who misbehave with patients and their relatives. Patients should be given the benefit of the resources available in a hospital. Paucity of budget should not be allowed to come in the way of treatment said Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak
“Strict action will be taken against those who misbehave with patients and their relatives. Patients should be given the benefit of the resources available in a hospital. Paucity of budget should not be allowed to come in the way of treatment,” Pathak directed all the CMOs and CMS’ of medical colleges.
Pathak said it should be ensured that patients do not have to wander for stretchers and wheelchairs in OPD and during emergency.
“Special care should be taken for cleanliness. Waste coming out of the hospital should be disposed of regularly,” he said. “If a patient comes in a serious condition and treatment is not possible in the hospital concerned, he or she should be sent to another hospital by ambulance but only after initial treatment,” he said, adding that in no case the patient should be sent to a private hospital.
