Rain diseases showing rise already in Mumbai: BMC
The city registered 22 cases of dengue between June 1 and 19 as compared to 12 in June 2021.
The city recorded two cases of H1N1, formerly swine flu, and one case of chikungunya between June 1 and 19, said BMC executive health officer Mangala Gomare.
Malaria cases haven’t started rising rapidly (189 in June so far), but Dr Gomare said people must keep surroundings clean to prevent breeding of mosquitoes.
