India records 134 COVID cases in last 24 hours
The Union Health Ministry updated that India’s active cases declined to 1,962. The active caseload was updated owing to the 1,80,721 COVID tests conducted in the last 24 hours. The ministry reported that a total of 91.38 crores of COVID-19 tests have been conducted in India so far.

The active cases now amount to 0.01 per cent of the total infection, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate increased to 98.81 per cent since 170 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours, the health ministry notified. The total number of people who have recuperated from the disease now stand at 4,41,48,815.
According to the ministry's website, 220.20 crore doses of Covid vaccines (95.15 crore second doses and 22.48 crore precaution doses) have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive, out of which, 1,86,727 doses were administered in the last 24 hours, which is almost double than yesterday’s recorded COVID tests.
