Last year, the AAP government, after its inception, converted the community health center into a liver and biliary institute. However, the institute has not been able to initiate operations since then and is locked. Deputy mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi first approached authorities with the demand that shifting of the community centre be stopped. Then he moved the high court. A 30-bed hospital was built by upgrading the Phase 3B1 dispensary during the previous government.
