NEET UG Answer Key to be released today: How to download, raise objections; important details here

NEET UG 2022 answer key is expected to be released today, August 30. Candidates will be able to check the answer keys for all sets of NEET 2022 question papers on the official website, nta.ac.in.

A statement by National Testing Agency (NTA) has said that the provisional NEET answer key, scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses will be made available today. Along with the NEET answer key 2022, NTA will also issue the OMR response sheets of the candidates.

The NTA statement said, ‘National Testing Agency will upload the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses for NEET (UG) – 2022 on the website for candidates to challenge by August 30, 2022.’

Answer key and OMR response sheets can be challenged by candidates. The final NEET UG 2022 answer key will be issued after considering the objections.

Aspirants of the medical entrance test must score above NEET UG 2022 cut-off to get shortlisted for the NEET admission process. Candidates will score four marks for each correct answer in NEET and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. However, no negative marking will be done for unattempted questions.

This year, 18,72,343 medical aspirants appeared for NEET UG 2022 on July 17, 2022.
