India records 30,757 new COVID-19 cases, 541 deaths

67,538 patients recovered from the infection in the past day taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,19,10,984. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.03 per cent.

New Delhi : With the administration of more than 34.75 lakh (34,75,951) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 174.24 crore (1,74,24,36,288). This has been achieved through 1,96,65,024 sessions.

30,757 new COVID-19 cases and 541 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 5,10,413 since the onset of the pandemic. 67,538 patients recovered from the infection in the past day taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,19,10,984. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.03 per cent.

The active caseload in the country is presently at 3,32,918, active cases constitute 0.78 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 11,79,705 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 75.55 crore (75,55,32,460) cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 3.04 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 2.61 per cent.
