Luca Visini, Managing Director, Eli Lilly & Co , India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, has held diverse strategic leadership roles in various functional departments across the US, Italy, UK and was the country manager of the Romania affiliate between 2011 and 2014. He joined Lilly India in the year that marked its 25-year presence in the country. Under his leadership, Lilly India entered the autoimmune therapy segment, expanded its diabetes portfolio and entered into a strategic and marketing alliance with Cipla.
