With the aim of achieving universal healthcare for all denizens of Rajasthan at the Economic Times Rajasthan Business Summit, ETHealthworld conducted a trialogue on ‘Ensuring Health Assurance for All: Strategies to Achieve Universal Healthcare Coverage by Public Private Partnership’. Healthcare experts shared that securing profits and creating a ‘successful repeatable business model’ through PPPs is a big challenge for private players. They also talked about the difficulty in upscaling setups which are driven by CSR funds and the fiscal burden experienced by private setups while operating in government public health schemes due to price mismatch.
