Tamil Nadu battles dengue surge, reports 11,743 cases and four deaths

Data presented by the health department showed that 58 per cent of the cases were from ten districts -- Chennai, Coimbatore, Krishnagiri, Tirupur, Tiruvallur, Theni, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Thanjavur and Trichy. Chennai reported nearly 14 per cent of all cases, followed by Coimbatore (11 per cent) and Krishnagiri (8 per cent).
