AIIMS-Delhi to launch cadaveric course for ankle and foot surgery

The one-and-a-half-day programme for surgeons is expected to benefit patients suffering from conditions such as flat foot and bunion deformity (a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of the big toe), which are currently handled by general orthopaedicians. Specialised care in this area can lead to better outcomes for these patients.
