Ayurvedic Surgeons Seek Special Courses for Better Opportunities

While these courses are a step forward for ayurveda, ayurvedic surgeons (MS Shalyatantra) feel left out, as none of the new programmes cater specifically to their surgical expertise. Currently, they are eligible only for orthopaedics and oncology courses, which involve limited surgical procedures.
