Inflation bites: How rising food costs affect nutrition and health

In September, Canada experienced its largest yearly increase in foods purchased from grocery stores or restaurants (10.3 per cent). Food prices rose slightly less in October (10 per cent), but remain elevated, with November's increase coming in at 6.8 per cent.
