    Pharma QR code packaging enhances authentication and traceability: S Swaminathan

    As per the notification by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the top 300 pharmaceutical brands are required to include QR codes on the product packaging by August 1st 2023. Brands are now required to apply a Barcode/QR code on their packaging at either the primary or secondary level. When users scan the QR code, they will be able to access eight specific attributes on their device.
