Prophylactic drugs decrease HIV risk from unprotected sex by 86%: Study
The PrEP Impact Trial conducted at 157 sexual health clinics in England, said to be the largest real-world study of its kind, was led by the UK Health Security Agency. The study found that PrEP, if taken regularly, can reduce the risk of HIV infection by around 86 per cent.
