Pharma drug cartel busted, Rs 14.72 lakh Tramadol tablets seized

On Sunday, Punjab Police declared that they had dismantled an interstate network of illicit opioid production and supply operations that were supposedly supplying pharmaceutical companies in Ahmedabad and Uttar Pradesh. The two producers have been taken into custody. A team from Punjab Police raided a pharmaceutical plant in Ahmedabad's Changodar neighbourhood in coordination with Gujarat Police's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), and they found 14.72 lakh Tramadol tablets.
