1,442 got HIV due to infected blood in last 10 years in Maharashtra

According to a report obtained under the Right to Information Act by Patient Rights Forum, Nagpur, 1,442 innocent persons in Maharashtra have been exposed to HIV infection after receiving infected blood in the last 10 years. The number of people infected with hepatitis B and C through blood is in the thousands.
