"If one wants to open the AIIMS then its standards are very different from district hospitals. The doctors of the district hospital they do practice also. But in AIIMS 24x7 doctors are there on the campus serving the patients. The amount of expenditure per patient is very different," he said.
Nadda stated that to strengthen and expand Ayushman card creation of eligible beneficiaries, especially in the urban areas and metropolitan cities, a bottom-up approach needs to be adopted, where we create pathways and mechanisms whereby, they can be easily verified for creation of Ayushman card
