Health university mandates trained security personnel on campuses

​KUHS had approached the HC soon after Dr Vandana's murder, seeking adequate law to ensure the protection of healthcare professionals and institutions. Besides this, KUHS also made it mandatory that trained security personnel should be deployed on the campus, OP wings and in the casualty department. It had also insisted that CCTV cameras be installed in the emergency department and hospital campus.
