Indore: Short supply of drugs hits services at MTH Hospital

Shortage of essentials, including medicines, cripples health services at Maharaja Tukojirao Holkar Hospital, impacting poor pregnant women. The hospital is 90% deficit of essentials, despite demands for 26,030 units of gloves, syringes, sanitary pads, and more. Supply of required medicines and essentials has been consistently low, exacerbating the situation in the last three months. The 400-bed hospital, initially used for COVID-19, now treats over 7000 patients monthly from 15 districts. MGM dean acknowledges the shortage and has requested consumables worth Rs 50 lakh and medicines for their hospitals.
