The study evaluated all surgical procedures for the past 5 years, starting from April 1, 2010 to March 31 last year.
For a few years now, it has been knocking at the doors of international technology awards, but losing out in the end to far more extraordinary innovations.
The study involved 244 male and 260 female subjects - five times larger than any previous similar research on smoking and cortical thickness.
