MCC will conduct four rounds of NEET UG Counselling, namely AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The seat allotment result for round 1 will be released on October 21, 2022.
The second round of state counselling will be conducted between November 7 and November 18, while the mop-up round will start on December 6 and continue till December 12. The academic session for UG courses will start on November 15, said the MCC notification

To avoid students from blocking seats, the committee has said that candidates who select a seat in the final phase of counselling and do not join the course within the stipulated time or those who discontinue the course after the cut-off date fixed by the National Medical Commission / Dental Council of India should pay the discontinuation fee of ₹10,00,000 to the selection committee.
