LEADING CAUSES OF DEATH IN MIZORAM

Mizoram cancer deaths: 641 in ’24

According to the records maintained by the state directorate of economics and statistics, 6,536 people died in the state during 2024 of which 641 people died due to cancer followed by 532 who died because of respiratory diseases and 482 people due to heart diseases.
