AIIMS Madurai will be ready by May 2026: Annamalai

AIIMS in Madurai was delayed because it was not like the satellite centres established in other states. While AIIMS in other states have been provided with funds ranging from Rs 500 crore to Rs 600 crore, AIIMS Madurai will be set up at a cost of nearly Rs 2,000 crore.
