Buy equipment at Jabalpur cancer institute soon: HC

The two officials appearing in the court during the hearing of the petition earlier this week told the judges that tenders have been invited for the purchase of equipment/machines and it is likely to be opened on May 6. The bench, comprising Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Vivek Agarwal, directed the officials to go ahead with the purchase irrespective of the number of bids received in response to the tender and deferred the hearing of the case to May 13.
