First Mpox case reported in Ekm, 29-year-old tests positive

He was immediately kept in isolation as he had fever and rashes all over his body. As the clinical diagnosis pointed towards Mpox, the patient's samples were collected and sent for tests at NIV Alappuzha. The lab test results arrived on Thursday. Sources said the patient's condition is stable now.
