Pune hospital successfully completes disc replacement surgery
The patient, a working female from the rural area of Satara, was admitted on the 26th of March, 2024, after experiencing debilitating symptoms consistent with cervical myelopathy. A day later, the patient underwent surgery. After a comprehensive evaluation, which included advanced magnetic resonance imaging, it was determined she had C4/5 cervical myelopathy, a disorder that compresses the spinal cord and nerve roots in the neck.
