Doctors blame Pune air quality for black patches in lungs

Experts said the city air, which remained mostly "moderate" on the air quality index (AQI) scale since October last year, was full of particulate matter. The AQI from November 21 to 24 in 2022 remained "severe" in the city, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) data showed.
