In the meeting, the chief secretary was apprised by the officers of power utilities that there is no shortage of power in the state and the utilities have already made arrangements to meet the demand of power this summer in Haryana. The officers of the PHED and irrigation departments told about the situation of availability of water for drinking and irrigation purposes. After reviewing the situation, the chief secretary decided that no rescheduling of working hours for government employees is needed.
