Government to conduct first ever AYUSH survey

The government on Tuesday said that it will for the first time conduct an AYUSH Survey to get an idea about the awareness and penetration of AYUSH systems of medicine in Indian population. The National Statistical Office and the State Directorates of Economics & Statistics will carry out the survey programme jointly for a period of one year, according to the statement.
