After the 10 multi-disciplinary teams appointed by the home ministry to assess bed utilisation and identity extra ICU beds at 100 private hospitals in Delhi submitted their reports, the ministry has asked the Haryana and Uttar Pradesh government to conduct a similar survey of private hospitals in their respective NCR districts.
A senior health ministry official said, "The move comes when one of the medical professional who obtained medicine degree from a medical college in PoK, wanted to purse medical registration from J&K medical council.
The home ministry also said action would be taken under the National Disaster Management Act against officers if lockdown guidelines are violated and congregation of people and opening of shops and establishments are allowed.
