The health ministry said that the three-member teams will visit the districts reporting a high number of Covid cases and support the State's efforts towards strengthening containment, surveillance, testing, infection prevention and control measures and efficient clinical management of the positive cases.
This is revealed by comparing the data in the 2018 annual report of the Civil Registration System (CRS), the latest released, with those in the 2010 report.
Under the universal immunisation programme, vaccination is done to protect children from diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, severe form of childhood tuberculosis, hepatitis B, haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) and diarrhoea.
In a study conducted by a group of researchers from Mohal in Kullu based unit of GB pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development on medicinal plants in Himachal Pradesh and North Western Himalaya in India, distribution of 643 medicinal plant species have been identified in in Kais and Manali Wildlife Sanctuaries, the Cold Desert Biosphere Reserve and the Great Himalayan National park. The area of the study covered 55, 673 km which is 9% of the Himalayan region.
