Mumbai: Now, troponin tests spike over heart fears

Even at Kokilaben Hospital, only 96 patients out of the 512 who had a troponin test between July and December 2022, had a heart attack. The hospital's cardiologist Dr Prashant Nair said around 50 per cent of the patients with proven heart attacks needed primary angioplasty.
