"There is an ongoing severe heat wave in Delhi and the temperatures are breaking all the records. The role of health department is most important regarding arrangements for people affected with heat-related illnesses," Bharadwaj said in his letter.
None of the samples of poultry birds from different parts of West Bengal tested positive for bird flu, a senior official said on Thursday, maintaining that there was no need to panic. He expressed the need for exploring possible collaboration in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and sought Google's support for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), building more digital health tools like Automated Retinal Disease Assessment (ARDA) and making them ABDM enabled, and in spreading awareness about ABDM among the student community as well as startup community
On the occasion of International Thalassemia Day the Health Secretary emphasised on the importance of timely detection and prevention as crucial approaches to deal with Thalassemia.
"You are, therefore, requested to kindly take necessary action for linkage of existing beneficiaries with ABHA in the various portals and do regular review of the progress at your level," Health secretary stated in a letter to all the state and UT governments.
