At Rs 14k, new wearable device offers drug-free migraine relief
Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy's Laboratories is releasing a wearable therapy device called Nerivio, approved by the US FDA, as a drug-free treatment for acute migraine. The device is worn on the upper arm and stimulates nerve endings to activate a pain-relieving process in the brainstem. It is approved for adults and adolescents aged 12 and older with acute migraine, with or without aura. The device comes with 18 sessions and is controlled by a mobile app with additional features such as a migraine diary and relaxation protocol.
