547 BDS seats vacant; poor job prospects among reasons cited in Tamil Nadu

The state selection committee said counselling for 2022 dental education began along with medical admissions this year. All seats in the two government dental colleges were taken but of 1,950 seats in the self-financing colleges, 402 government quota seats and 366 management quota seats were vacant at the end of the stray vacancy round.
