Health dept to set up ward-wise war rooms to tackle monsoon maladies

The BMC had set up 24 war rooms with a doctor, coordinator and data entry operator, one in each civic ward, during the start of the COVID pandemic in 2020. The same mechanism will be used to keep tabs on outbreaks of dengue and malaria in Mumbai, coordinate door-to-door surveys and mosquito-control measures.
