Kannada film actor sues clinic for cancer misdiagnosis, wins Rs 1.5 lakh

Heartbroken, the young actor was stressed about her healthy life being cut short and worried how she was to break the news of her illness to her parents. Shaken by the initial diagnosis, the actor sued the first diagnostic centre for the stress and tension caused to her. In a recent judgment, a consumer court ordered the errant diagnostic centre to pay her a compensation of Rs 1.5 lakh for the false prognosis report.
