Researchers identify anatomical changes in brains after patients sight is restored

The researchers uncovered structural alterations that occur in the brains of these patients after their sight is restored in a recent study. These changes in the structure and organisation of the brain's white matter appear to underpin part of the visual improvements noticed in these patients by the researchers.
