Medical professionals indicate that combining genetic blood analysis with ultrasound examinations enables assessment of potential birth abnormalities. However, several metabolic and sensory disorders can only be detected at birth and as a child grows, making it currently impossible to identify these conditions through prenatal ultrasound evaluations using available diagnostic tools.
