Antidepressant sales record 35 per cent rise in Gujarat since Covid

MAT, which reflects sales for a 12-month period calculated on a monthly rolling basis, for antidepressants and mood stabilisers has grown from Rs 63 crore in August 2019 to Rs 85 crore in the corresponding period ending August 2023. In the same period, total sale of drugs under neurological and central nervous system (CNS) therapy rose 28 per cent from Rs 369 crore to Rs 473 crore.
