Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are envisaged to deliver expanded health services beyond maternal and child care to include care for non-communicable diseases, palliative and rehabilitative care, oral, eye and ENT care, mental health and first level care for emergencies and trauma, including free essential drugs and diagnostic services
The three-day conference is being organised by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) under the Directorate General of Health Services.

The Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres now will be known as “Ayushman Arogya Mandir”, the Union health ministry has decided. It has sent a letter to the states and Union Territories to implement the rebranding exercise. The states have also been asked to upload photographs of rebranded primary health facilities on the Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWC) portal. The rebranded AB-HWCs will also have a new tagline —‘Arogyam Parmam Dhanam’.
