Drinking beetroot juice linked to reduced risk of heart attacks in angina patients with stents: Study
The research on the advantages of vegetable juice was presented at the conference in Manchester and was supported by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and the National Institute for Health and Care Research. By stopping restenosis, beetroot juice could stop patients from having to have another PCI procedure that may also fail or a much more invasive coronary bypass surgery.
