600 joint replacements at AIIMS-Patna in five years

The main causes of rise in joint problems were lack of proper food rich with calcium, lifestyle and lack of exercise.
The research carried out under the umbrella of Etimologically Elusive Disorders Research Network (EEDRN) was published in the November issue of the peer-reviewed international journal 'Frontiers in Psychiatry'. Apart from AIIMS, Patna, researchers from other institutions involved are Medical University of South Carolina, USA, Langlone Medical Center, New York, and Aix Marseille University, France.
The burn centre, to be spread over 10,000 sqft area, will provide tertiary care to patients with burn injuries.
