Amid NEET uncertainty, Tamil Nadu private colleges start 'booking seats'

"Parents are asked to meet authorities on campus and are instructed to leave behind mobile phones and electronic gadgets," said student counsellor Manickavel Arumugam, who visited one such college. "They let you inside for the meeting only after you surrender the phone," he said.
