Hand surgery, particularly in our nation, is still in its infancy compared to spine and joint replacement surgery. Universities and institutions all around the world have realised how important it is to teach hand surgeons, and they have developed curricula, fellowship programmes, and organised training programmes that will help produce the next generation of hand surgeons.
